Andrea Sears



Andrea Sears is a New York City-based broadcast journalist who comes to Public News Service from the storied WBAI, where she was the Evening News news editor and anchor for 20 years. She has also produced feature stories and documentaries for National Public Radio. Originally trained in sculpture and conceptual art at Rhode Island School of Design and Pratt Institute, in her spare time today Andrea is an avid motorcyclist and amateur singer/songwriter performing at open mic nights around New York City.
