DES MOINES, Iowa - Esta semana el Planned Parenthood del Heartland facilitó una conferencia de tres días para profesionales de salud sexual de todo el país para aprender lo más nuevo sobre actividad sexual saludable, sobre trabajo con adolescentes y como incorporar objetivos de diversidad.

Penny Dickey, presidenta del Planned Parenthood del Heartland dice que es un honor poder ser sede del evento.

"Se trata de expandir lo que ya se ha aprendido y como trabajar con la educacion de la sexualidad humana; no es solo sobre los organos sexuales, si no va mas alla al proveer informacion sobre relaciones entre parejas."

Añade Dickey que hay varias áreas de las cuales el Planned Parenthood del Heartland son expertos de las que otros pueden aprovechar para aprender.

"Los educadores estan aqui para aprender mas sobre como proveer informacion a la audiencia, como mantener la informacion al dia, evidencia para verificar la informacion y avanzando con los cambios a la reforma de salud, manteniendonos conforme a esas areas de la ley."
