Gira Thrive aspira impulsar activismo regional en comunidades de Kentucky

Tiffany Taul-Scruggs de Mount Sterling Healthcare dice que su equipo de trabajadores de salud comunitarios confió en el programa Thrive para comprender mejor el proceso de renovación de Medicaid, de modo que pudieran mejorar la atención a su población de pacientes.

"Una de las cosas que realmente encontré útil es que son un grupo en el que puedo confiar, o si necesito llamarlos para hablar sobre cosas, realmente hacen mucho trabajo de preparación detrás de escena," dijo Taul-Scruggs.

Según el grupo de defensa de la atención médica K-F-F, más de uno coma seis millones de personas en Kentucky están cubiertas por Medicaid. Más de la mitad del gasto de Medicaid del Commonwealth se destina a personas mayores y personas con discapacidades.
